The Second Sunday of Advent is when TUMC Austin gathers for special seasonal music to lift our spirits. All services on that day will feature various scripture readings that start from the oldest prophecies in the Old Testament to the most beloved scriptures in the New Testament. Each lesson will have a musical response as a carol or anthem to enhance the listener's experience as we ready our minds and hearts for the mystery of Christmas and the babe lying in a manger.
